This resource is great for writing subject reports for SEN students. It gives the opportunity to state what course criteria has been completed so far, whether they are on track, how they have managed each half term and what support needs they have. By completing a section each half term, means when its report time at the end of the academic year, your reports are already written!

This is a resource I use with students completing a Functional Skills - English/Literacy course. It is a Speaking and Listening assessment task, where students have to roleplay for 5 minutes making a phone call (ordering a takeaway). This resource could be used for SEN students, to support them with the Speaking and listening course criteria.

A Year Plan for the Arts Award (Bronze) for 2023/2024. It has a Graphic Design project based theme. I like to create a year plan first, to plan my year out before completing my Scheme of Learning (I like how you can see the whole year on one page) The Year Plan can be put at the front of each students’ folder and the student can see where they’re up to too, ideal for SEN students who like to know what’s coming next! This Arts Award Year Plan is for the academic year 2023-2024 and is easily adapted to suit your curriculum needs. Suitable for Entry Level+ students.

This is a resource I use for SEN students who are completing Art sessions. At the beginning of the year, the students state what their Art EHCP goal is and how they will achieve it in sessions. This resource is then used to review progress and achievement half way through the year and again at the end of the year. (See accompanying Art EHCP goal set up sheet.)

This resource can be used with students that require support around building social skills. This is an activity where students can list 6 conversations starters on the sheet, before writing them onto a cube net and creating a conversation starter dice. You could use it as a social skills activity during Travel Training sessions, where students are encourage to practice good social skills in the local community; or used as evidence towards the Rarpa, PfA - Preparing for Adulthood target of Friends, Relationships & Community Skills.

This is a 4 page resource can be used for students that require support in building social skills, such as students with Autism or Entry Level 1-3. This is a resource I use for students that require Travel Training sessions. In order to develop transferable skills, students are required to plan journeys on public transport. This resource is a scenario where students can plan a trip to their local Costa Coffee shop. You just need to add the appropriate info (street names etc.) for your local area! It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey. It also encourages budgeting skills.
